Safety Rules and Regulations
- All riders and spectators on the property must sign a liability release directly after entering the property. All riders and spectators on the property must sign a liability release directly after entering the property.
- All riders under the age of 18 must wear an ASTM-SEI approved helmet while mounted at all times.
- No smoking is allowed inside the barn or arena at any time.
- All horses on the property must have proof of a negative Coggins test within the past year, as well as record of vaccination for:
- Rabies
- Tetanus
- EHV-1 and 4
- EEE
- WEE
- All horses competing on the property must be sound and of proper condition for level of competition. If any Shenanigans Stables’ staff member feels that a horse is not sound and/or conditioned properly, you will be asked to withdraw yourself from the competition and seek veterinary medical attention. Refusal to do so will result in removal from grounds.
- Riders are expected to have control of their mounts at all times. If any Shenanigans Stables’ staff member feels that a particular horse/rider combination is endangering the safety of others on the property, you will be asked to withdraw yourself from competition. Refusal to do so will result in removal from grounds.
- All dogs must be leashed and under their owner’s control at all times during competition. Any dog brought shown to be aggressive will be asked to be removed from the property or put safely away by the owner.
